My proposed work will feature a net (approx 2.5 x 2m) suspended in between walls, this net has a large hole through it and is made up of a few layers for depth. Beneath the net is a fragmented smashed mirror on the floor, which reflects the net above it. On the walls surrounding the piece is a projection with footage showing videos of light, shadow and movement, to show the passing of time, and blur of stimulation.
The work will require 2-3 walls around it, to enclose the work. If I have 2 walls the work will be more open and will be more difficult to suspend the net. So preferably 3 sides, it needs to be able to hold the 4 corners of the net up. I will also need a dimmed space and 2-3 projectors to project the videos around it, one of which I may be able to source myself.
