Sunset reflections

I’ve shifted towards building more video works, and experimenting with a focus on light to further develop the ideas of the original shadow video.

I’m thinking about the aesthetics of the everyday. The beauty in the little things that go unnoticed and the act of noticing these things. As well as the meditative sort of timelessness it can place you in, with being present, appreciating the natural phenomena of the world.

It was a random evening, standing in the estuary water, filming the light hitting the water. But it was a beautiful moment. I think some of the random moments in life can unpredictably be the most memorable and enjoyable. I enjoy taking note of these moments.
